Boat repair and maintenance

We have our own repair workshop for nautical upholstery, boat storage and winter storage in Mallorca, as well as a workshop for repairing stainless steel and nautical carpentry. We carry out maintenance of boats in live and dead work. Our staff has more than 15 years of experience and we only work with first quality products. • Antifouling treatment: we carry out antifouling of motor and sailing boats, we use antifouling products from Hempel and International, according to our experience the best quality. For shafts and blades we use material from Propspeed, guaranteeing total protection of the drive shaft. When antifouling boats it is very important to sand the hull and blades with great care to avoid future vibrations or the well known snoring sound. In the antifouling process we sand the hull with a sanding machine or by blasting the hull, applying primer and antifouling patent on the boat.
• Osmosis treatment: with regard to the repair, maintenance and prevention of osmosis in boats, it is important to know that this is a chemical reaction produced inside the resin and fibre mixture. When salt water filters through, a chemical reaction is produced that causes the well-known bubbles. To prevent osmosis in the hull of the boat, it is necessary to carry out good maintenance through antifouling of the boats.
